It was so much easier when I only had ...none!

PS: no children were harmed in the making of this ...

So sometimes this month, lil ol' me became a mother of three overnight! just like that! I know what you're thinking right? someone saw it fit to leave bumight by herself with three kids? #issorait I have never been responsible for anyone other than myself. My younger sister is just a year younger.
I remember one time when my sister had arranged to babysit a neighbor's kid. she had gone out when they brought the baby, and i was alone by myself. The baby started crying. I did everything i knew how to do, but she didnt stop. so what did Bumight do? I closed the door on the baby and went to get my sister!

So where were we, - yeah! mommy Bumight! Funny thing is I had been helping my friend with the kids for a bit, so I thought, this shouldnt be hard right? wrong!

#mommybootcamp day1
well, i was basically exhausted the first day, and was going to go get them from the neighbor's place, i just woke up and saw them standing over my bed.  fine. Its going to be a long day with 3 kids!We didnt  go to school that day, just went out to see my friend. I kinda had help today so it wasnt too bad.

#mommybootcamp day 2
Usually, I help my friend with getting the kids ready for school, and I thought I already know the routine right? wrong! It took us waaay longer to get ready for school. As #mommybootcamp was coinciding with my #step3bootcamp I also had to get ready to go to the library as well. Got all three kdis ready and we made it to school...just 15 mins late!

#mommybootcamp day 3
#epicfail : didnt check homework!
of course the kids knew to ask me if they could play outside, and I acquiesce, knowing that it would save me some stress, I however forgot to check their bag packs for homework and any school correspondence! Ergo, we didnt do homework, and we were the only kids wearing uniform to school even though it was a dress down day at school!
Forgot to add that we made it to school on time! while I and my baby went to the library....we both took a nap in there somehow. The librarian told me we looked cute!

#mommybootcamp day 4
I had a photoshoot scheduled for today and I had originally planned to take my brood with me. Slight change of plans though, got someone to watch them while I had the whole day to myself!
Woke up, cleaned up the whole house, deposited the kids, and got ready to go to my photoshoot. Was done by 9pm. collected the kids. House was promptly
back
upside down by 9:45!

#mommybootcamp goes to church!  day 5
I had our clothes picked out the night before, I was determined to make it to church on time. I had all four of us ready to walk out of the door by 10:00am. we made it to praise and worship! Now by this time my kids were really feeling this mommy bootcamp ish, and were clinging to me throughout church. iro ni o! I made sure everybody stayed in their class.
End of service: car wont start, 99 degree weather, 3 kids. sha sha, i handled it.

Bootcamp came to an end today

Morale of the story:
1. People can give you advice from afar, but if they're not IN your shoes, they dont know how your situation feels like. I never knew what hassle my friend was going through until I stepped into her shoes. I never knew why she was exhausted all day until i took over. the moment I finally managed to get them dressed, I suddenly feel tired and want a nap!
2. I will make an awesome mom...all I just need now is a sperminator!  any takers?

Which Marvin will be your Marvin?

Wande Coal
Everybody knows Wande is my first love! from the days of "ololufe" Ive been blogging about him, tweeting at/about him, even changed my last name to coal sef. yes o, forrst wife sturves!  i thought wande was the one until...he started acting up.
first he promised to sing "happy birthday" to me on my birthday in 2010, it is now 2012 no happy birthday.
or is it because I refused to come to NY? Wande our love is deeper than this o! I was there for you when nobody knew what you even looked like, yelz! i was there for you two years ago when you were in mushin ...
but Wande can be boring sha...even on bbm!

Dr. Sid
its Dr Sid!!! now normally, im not a Dr. Sid fan. I can bump one of his random songs from time to time, nothing serious. until Y-O-L-O!!!
when I say that song changed my life, i mean literally. Honestly though, I was in a serious funk for the whole of last year, and YOLO came out, and my life has not been the same again since then! I played that song almost 20 times on my birthday this year. Shower hour starts with YOLO daily! take YOLO out of the equation and Dr. Sid is just there...though Drs Sid and Bumight sounds cool abi?

D'Prince
now to the main the main. I should have known we had chemistry.I woke up to Omoba daily for almost a year, Give it to me was a banger but I wasnt really into him, until recently that he's been all up in my solar plexus.
I dont even understand a word of Amarachi, but I'm sure that song was directed at me, halleluyeour!!!!
actually, I watched the Mavin interview and D'prince was jovial, talking, communicating, and me i was just in front of my computer "awwww-ing" away. while Wande coal just sat there- boring!
and then, he started putting up all these sexy pictures of himself up.
me, i don de-camp no more Heparin-coal! D'princess is here! who am i, who am I , AYABA!
sheesh! so let this post double up as a warning, cos I know my baby (yelz, o ti di baby mi niyen sharp sharp) has been putting up all these shirtless pics of himself on twitter and instagram.
so eyin groupies, e fall back o! cos the wande coal groupies will tell you fooorst wife dont play!!!

Hooking up with your Summer Naija Dude v 2.0

So it's that time of the year again. Short skirts are being dusted, bikinis on point, insanity workout sturves. All these would be useless if you didn't have a summer dude. Abi? And this one that everybody and their mamas got married/engaged last year, well at least in my own part of town. So you KNOW that the eligible NAIja men are even rarer than *insert your favorite endangered species*

If you missed the 2009 edition, you can catch up here, but as times have changed, I felt an update would be necessary. What would y'all do without me?

 1. Put God first
And by that I mean find a good NAIja church you want to go to. The "kind" of Naija dude you get also depends on the church you go to. I really am not going to be forced to mention each individual naija church, but RCCG is a good place to start. Even in RCCG, you can go to the Jesus Houses for awon professional smedium suit rocking bruvas etc.
man, I went for a service at a certain Jesus House, and dang! the place was teeming with bruvas!!!

 2. Weddings
This one goes without saying. Everyone knows that weddings are fertile grounds for hooking up both home and abroad. However, I have to point out that you cannot just go to the weddings and sit down. During those intervals where the couple is changing and d dj is spinning, you gotta be at the center of the floor doing some serious lo ole. That's a great way to draw attention to yourself.
Caveat: make sure you practice ur azonto at home before displaying expired dance steps.

 3. Download your Boaz
I know you nigerians are a little bit wary of awon eHarmony, match.com and co. But some of your Boazes maybe lurking online, all you have to do is download. How? set Some Twitter P. Now twitter is good for socializing, with people from all over the world. But you know what's better than RTs, the underground world of DM. Not that I know what goes on in these parts o, but I heard, I heard ni o that some quality twitter P has been set in times past, even some international sturves.
Please feel free to leave your testimony in the comments section to encourage some sistehs in the Lord.

 4. Summer parties
Especially in the DMV area, there is now an over abundance of Naija promoters. From muse lounge to spot lounge, to mood lounge, the choice is all yours my sister, and usually the place is teeming with Naija men. Now I dont know how they do it in other states, but my DMV men are partying it up here, so you can always come down....for Naija reunion

 5. There's an App for that
...seriously, ok, so maybe the Apple store does not have an app...yet. we're working on it tho!

So my sisters, go ye out into the world and locate your Boaz, and never say Bumight didn't point you in the right direction!
