I have decided...I need a sugar daddy!

my internet just came back up couple of mins ago, so my studying is officially over! As usual, I've spent the week thinking up random things to blog about, and I must say, I was pretty creative. em... I just forgot about everything! if it was u nko? free me jare!

I have an exam tomorrow, and I seriously need to be studying. I just don't feel like it. It's frigging Medicine and Society. It's what they'll call Community Medicine in naija, and it basically consists of lectures coming to tell us the most random things, in a 3 hour span. One of them was telling us about how he usually has 'play time' with his wife! can anyone say TMI?

So, I have like 12 powerpoint lectures to read (each lecture is an average of 50 slides). The chances are looking grim. Upon say person wan become docki? Which leads me to the title of this post. I'm thinking of considering the easy route... A sugar daddy. Emphasis on the word Sugar. does anyone know where I could find one?

reckon Hugh Hefner got any more space at the Playboy mansion?

ANTM and My "Guy-Radar"

connective tissue is calling out to me, but I refuse to answer. asko! Kierzenbaum (my histology book) is making eyes at me, but nah! you can wait. I'm sick and tired of studying, so I'm taking a 'study-break' to gossip on the internet. It's so hard to study when there's internet, heck! it's even harder to pay attention in class to a professor with a monotonous voice when I can be on Facebook, checking my emails for the ....60th time? or reading random blogs.

Yesterday was the season premiere of ANTM (America's Next Top Model), and as I'm really into modeling, I had to watch it. Problem was, it started at 8pm and babe was still in the library then. Thank God I had it recorded. yay! for comcast DVR

The real reason I wanted to watch ANTM was because I knew someone on the show. There's this acquaintance of mine- we r not really best buddies but we worked a fashion show together- I heard she's on the show. By default, I'm rooting for her. After watching the show, I don't know about her chances of winning, but I'm still rooting for her.

There are other girls that look prettier, i saw her walk on the show, and I knew she could walk better than what she did. Neways, more importantly, I just felt that she was acting different. Maybe its because of the camera, but anytime the camera was on her, she became a little over-animated for me, almost like a new person.

I didn't really get to know her outside of rehearsals, but I don't remember her being that loud, I'm also scared that she's going to be boxed into this "african-girl-looking" box, but I gues I'll keep my fingers crossed.

So to the 'guy-radar thingy'. Did I see some ears twitch? some backs straighten? haba! amebo too do you! anyways, the 'guy-radar' (name coined by my friends) is this antenna like or radar like thing that 'picks' up fine guys at close frequency. ok,, you got me. It's just basically scoping guys, shotan?. Don't act like you don't do it, we all do it. and who says a girl can't scope? abeg, what is good for the gander is also good for the goose!

Scoping is not only for guys jare. I know a lot of guys have problems being 'scoped'. Don't worry, we don't do it as lecherously as y'all do it. At least, I keep it PG-13. Anyways, for some reason I've been noticing cute guys everywhere. In my class, in the hallways, generally everywhere... and yes, in the library!!! . It seems like there's an infestation of cute guys everywhere, help!

It all started during the date auction, that was when the scales fell off my eyes, and I noticed that I was swimming in a myriad of cute, sexy and smart guys.

DISCLAIMER: I don't think any dirty thoughts when I scope guys, I just appreciate the beauty, sexiness, ruggedness and even nerdiness of the guys I scope. It's like I just discovered a new form of art! you should try some scoping, PG-13 one though, it's fun.

I used to be afraid to scope, it almost felt like I was cheating on my boyfriend or I was doing something dirty. Until I grew out of that feeling, a guilty chill always went down my spine. Let's face it though, ALL guys do scope, some even scope with their girlfriends sitting next to them! not to talk about all the dirty, nasty things going through their minds, ewww!

In short, my 'Guy-radar' is in overdrive. gtg!

PS: I'm so done with my cute-nerd crush...

see me see trouble o!

Amebo!, isn't that why you stopped to read the blog. Don't be shy, we all do it. Ameboism is a fundamental right of anybody, so don't be shy if u r excercising your right. oya, quickly go and microwave that popcorn, or is it guguru? I'll wait, don't forget to grab a can of soda while you're at it..... are you back? Alright, let's carry go.

So, this past saturday I went on a date. I call it a date cos I got dressed up and everything, and I was pretty much bored studying for 10 straight hours, I was glad for the break.

so my date picks me up, and we drive to downtown DC to this fab restaurant called xxxxx (on revision, i have removed the name of the restaurant, this age that any Tom, Dick and Mariah has internet, I don't want to be sued o!), or something like that. I noticed when we got there was that we were the only black people in the restaurant. The first thing that crossed my mind was, ope o! thank God I dressed up, and didn't come in some jeans and casual sturves, cos these oyinbos (for PC sake), you might not know but most of them are watching you, waiting for you to fuck up.

Neways, the waitress comes with the menu, the menu had first course, second course blah blah

sexy date: *scans the menu* do we have to order a first course

waitress: No,

SD: alright, we'll have the .... (and then he orders, i can't even remember the name of the food)
waitress: what would you be having ma'am

(emi naa the ma'am abi?)

me: I'll have the same thing

waitress: alright, that would be about 20 minutes

SD: 20 minutes?

waitress: yes

SD: (scans the menu again)

waitress: yes, we prepare our meals from the scratch and that takes about 20 minutes. but we have an open bar (points in the direction of the bar) where the menu is less formal and you can order stuff like pasta, burgers. The seating is less formal also (points to the row benches behind her)

SD: how long will that take?

waitress: it takes 20 minutes also, everything comes from the same kitchen and its prepared fresh also

Me: (trying not to eye her), thanks, but we'll stay here!

can you imagine! pekele pekele arugbo je gbese tani o san? I think it's because we were the only black people in the restaurant. SD doesn't think so, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it! I was so pissed off. I told SD I felt like causing a scene, but he said I don't have it in me. On my way out though, I did see one other black guy but he was sitting in that bar area. The waitress probably thought we missed our road, she was profiling us, and I wasn't having that.

When we were done, SD wanted to tip her. In my opinion she didn't deserve any tip cos she insulted us! as fate would have it *insert evil grin* he didn't have change for a $20, so he tipped her $3 or something.

As we were walking out of the restaurant, I saw one other black man in the restaurant, and guess where he was.... yup! u're right, AT THE BAR

Cute sexy nerds...

ok, so I made a conscious decision to make sure I'm not too far from blogger, and blog at least once a week. I have an exam on monday, so I really need to be doing some studying or sleeping. I'm constantly tired, and blogging is high up there on my mind, but I don't have the time to do it. I finally got internet at my place. I don't know what to write but ...
ok, so it seems like my "guy radar" is working overload, because i've been doing a lot of scoping lately. I've been scoping guys in my class, the 2nd year class, the library, it's been ridiculous! so there's this one guy that I've been scoping for weeks now, and the reason is: He looks like a nerd!... but a cute one at that. Everything nerdy he does is so cute. I'm a sucker for cute sexy nerds. His glasses, his mannerisms are so... omigosh!, so I started searching for other cute nerds, you know, variety is the spice of life. I found a couple actually, but they don't compare to this first gu. I think it's because he reminds me so much of my biggest high school crush, so I'm reverse transcribing my crush onto Al.....
neways, I'm feeling sleepy, and I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow, I mean its not easy being a stalker!

To blog or not to blog?

"Oya, pack your things and get out of my house!", "whore!!"

"From today onwards, consider yourself an orphan, you have no parents!"

"I'm sorry, we made a mistake earlier on, but we won't be able to offer you this job"

These are some of the things I think about, when I want to blog. To write a honest blog, straight from my heart, following the rhythm as my heart beats and my weary fingers jab the keyboards. But no!. Even though I think people hardly read my blog, there's no doubt some other people would stumble on it. This age when employers google people up, and check their facebook websites. What if I want to run for office someday and some overzealous googler finds some dirt on me from what i've written? The possibilities are endless.
I don't even know what to call my blog? i don't even know what to write about. I want to write without being confined to a box. I want to write what I feel like writing. I want to write about everything and anything.

i've been thinking about this for a very long time now. I want to challenge myself, I WANT TO WRITE A BOOK. ok, I've said it. I don't know if I can do it, what it would be all about, whether II'll get bored halfway through it and stop. I want to do something different. It could be a collection of short stories or something, but i guess I'll figure it out someday.

I want to make new friends.

i don't want anybody to read my blog

i want everybody to read my blog

i want a poster size picture of me hanging above my bed... I know, say it, I'm vain, whatever!

alright, I'm off to study!
